About Annie

I started cooking for family and friends at a very early age. I used to cook meatloaf and stuffed green peppers for my Mom at the age of 10 and she still says to this day that nobody cooked Shrimp Creole better than me. I even baked my Mother's Two Tiered Raspberry and Vanilla Cream Wedding Cake!

After College I worked at various jobs until I decided to follow my passion for travel and cooking and began traveling and cooking abroad. My love of cooking and traveling took me throughout the US, Hawaii and Europe where I had the opportunity to train and work at some the top restaurants of each region. My travels taught me much about the importance of fresh food and the diversity of unique cultures on cooking styles. These experiences not only taught me about the different ways in which people prepare food, but provided me with a large culinary repertoire of delicious foods to prepare for my clients.

My passion for cooking fresh, delicious meals finally brought me to San Diego where I started annie's kitchen back in September 2003. Since I love the City of San Diego and I am passionate about food, it made sense that I share my love of food with the people of San Diego.
